Kale Chips
Directions
• 1 bunch kale, washed and dried
• 2 tsp olive oil
• pinch of sea salt
• Optional seasonings: garlic powder, black pepper, chili powder, cumin, cinnamon
Directions
- Preheat oven to 300F.
- Removed midrib and tear leaves into “chip-sized” pieces.
- Toss leaf pieces in olive oil to coat each leaf and arrange on unlined baking sheet (not touching).
- Sprinkle sea salt and/or seasoning of choice over kale leaves.
- Bake for 10 minutes, rotate pan, gently stir and bake for an additional 7-15 minutes. Watch carefully to prevent burning. Chips will turn a very slight golden brown when done.
- Remove pan from oven and let sit for 3-5 minutes to finish crisping.
- Serve immediately or store for 2-3 days in an airtight container.
