Kale Chips

Directions

• 1 bunch kale, washed and dried

• 2 tsp olive oil

• pinch of sea salt

• Optional seasonings: garlic powder, black pepper, chili powder, cumin, cinnamon

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 300F.
  2. Removed midrib and tear leaves into “chip-sized” pieces.
  3. Toss leaf pieces in olive oil to coat each leaf and arrange on unlined baking sheet (not touching).
  4. Sprinkle sea salt and/or seasoning of choice over kale leaves.
  5. Bake for 10 minutes, rotate pan, gently stir and bake for an additional 7-15 minutes. Watch carefully to prevent burning. Chips will turn a very slight golden brown when done.
  6. Remove pan from oven and let sit for 3-5 minutes to finish crisping.
  7. Serve immediately or store for 2-3 days in an airtight container.
